At least two new First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered against Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. These cases stem from allegations of assaulting police personnel and vandalizing a police vehicle during a protest in central Delhi on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. A constable reported being surrounded, abused, and physically attacked by around 30-35 protesters. Additionally, police allege a vehicle was damaged, with Congress workers reportedly puncturing a bus tyre. These FIRs are separate from previous cases filed after an earlier protest.

कांग्रेस नेताओं राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा के खिलाफ कम से कम दो नई फर्स्ट इंफॉर्मेशन रिपोर्ट (एफआईआर) दर्ज की गई हैं। ये मामले बुधवार, 7 अक्टूबर 2026 को मध्य दिल्ली में एक विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान पुलिसकर्मियों पर हमला करने और पुलिस वाहन में तोड़फोड़ करने के आरोपों से जुड़े हैं। एक कांस्टेबल ने बताया कि उसे लगभग 30-35 प्रदर्शनकारियों ने घेर लिया, गाली दी और शारीरिक रूप से हमला किया। इसके अलावा, पुलिस का आरोप है कि एक वाहन को नुकसान पहुंचाया गया, जिसमें कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने कथित तौर पर एक बस का टायर पंचर कर दिया। ये एफआईआर पहले के विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद दर्ज मामलों से अलग हैं।
