Bihar is set to construct over 11.18 lakh permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). This initiative aims to provide housing for rural families. A recent 'Grih Pravesh' ceremony saw the completion of 2.35 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas units during the 2026-27 financial year.
