Indian Smallcaps Deliver 60 Multibaggers Since Last Diwali Amidst Nifty Decline

Despite the Nifty index falling over 11% since last Diwali, a significant number of Indian smallcap stocks have delivered exceptional returns. Sixty companies have doubled investors' money, with some surging as high as 650%. Sterlite Technologies led the pack with a 649.7% rally, driven by interest in digital infrastructure. Pharmaceutical, defence, engineering, and consumer-facing companies also featured prominently among the top performers. While smallcaps outperformed the benchmark, their gains were concentrated in a few stocks, and valuations remain elevated.
