IMD has predicted a significant weather shift across 10 states, including Delhi-NCR, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh, within the next 20 hours. Expect thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds gusting up to 60 km/h. Punjab and Haryana may experience hailstorms along with rain. Western Uttar Pradesh is also likely to see rain and hailstorms, while eastern parts might witness lightning. This change is attributed to a Western Disturbance affecting northwest India and the activation of the Northeast Monsoon in the south, potentially bringing relief from heat.
