Lucknow University Scraps Entrance Test, Admissions Now Via CLAT From 2027
Times of India · education
Lucknow University will no longer conduct its own entrance examination for five-year integrated LLB and BBA-LLB programmes starting from the 2027-28 academic session. Admissions will now be solely based on candidates' scores in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2027). This decision follows a formal agreement with the consortium of national law universities. Online application forms for these courses will be available on the university's official website in the last week of December 2026. Only candidates appearing for CLAT-2027 will be eligible to apply, with a separate university application also required.
