Dussehra marked a blend of faith, tradition, and festivity in Ahmedabad after nine nights of revelry. The city experienced the aroma of traditional sweets, the sound of havan fires, and temple bells as families participated in auspicious rituals. The day included weapon worship for the police and Rajput community, housewarming ceremonies, and vehicle deliveries, with new cars adorned before being driven. In Rupal village, a centuries-old tradition saw thousands of devotees participate in the Palli procession, offering ghee which is later distributed to the underprivileged.
