Bhojpur police and the Bihar prohibition bureau seized 2,570 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor from a truck at Kulhariya Toll Plaza on Thursday. An alleged liquor smuggler, identified as Deepak Kumar from Patna district, was arrested during the operation. The truck used for transporting the illegal consignment was also confiscated. An investigation is underway to uncover the broader smuggling network, with an FIR lodged at Koilwar police station.
