Kovalam Police have arrested Maya V, a temporary health inspector, for allegedly sexually exploiting a minor girl at local spas. Initial spa income was routed through her bank account before being transferred to Anuroop, another health inspector previously arrested and suspended in the case. Maya's alleged involvement surfaced during Anuroop's interrogation and analysis of his phone and bank records. Investigators are also examining the victim's background, including potential links to multiple Aadhaar cards, and exploring interstate connections to the exploitation ring.
