New robot vacuums are set to feature significant cleaning enhancements, including improved ability to overcome household thresholds. Brands like Dreame, DJI, and Roborock are developing models capable of clearing higher steps. Additionally, a major trend involves pre-treating dried-on stains with moisture before mopping. Dreame's Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete will even use steam at 180°C for enhanced cleaning power, though this feature is energy-intensive and limits its usage.
