Central team reviews pulse farming in Yadgir

A central agricultural team, led by Mahesh Kumar from the Directorate of Pulses Development, Bhopal, recently inspected pulse demonstration plots and seed production in Yadgir district. The visit evaluated the Union government's Mission for Atma Nirbharta in Pulses (MAP) scheme, including mechanised sowing and integrated pest management techniques. The team also reviewed seed production by ICAR-KVK, Yadgir, which produced 506 quintals of high-yielding red gram seeds.
