Jio-bp, Nayara Cap Diesel Sales Due To Demand
Business Standard · business
Jio-bp and Nayara Energy have limited diesel sales at their outlets to 50-200 litres per customer daily. This action follows industrial and bulk consumers increasingly buying cheaper retail diesel instead of higher-priced industrial fuel. The price difference can be as much as Rs 40 per litre, putting pressure on retail fuel supplies. Public sector retailers like IOC, BPCL, and HPCL may also implement similar restrictions to manage inventory and ensure availability for regular motorists.
