A Kerala consumer commission has ordered Qatar Airways to pay Rs 10 lakh compensation for denying boarding to two children, including an infant, despite issuing them boarding passes. The commission ruled this as a deficiency in service and an unfair trade practice. The family experienced considerable mental agony and hardship due to the airline's arbitrary decision.
