Odisha Woman Survives 25km River Drift

A 75-year-old woman in Odisha's Kendrapara district miraculously survived after being swept away by the Brahmani River. Keshi Dalai clung to life for over 12 hours, drifting nearly 25 km in turbulent floodwaters. She was spotted and rescued by local youths on Sunday morning. Despite swallowing water and appearing pale, she recovered after receiving immediate attention. Her survival is considered remarkable given the river's known crocodile population and recent flood conditions.

ओडिशा के केंद्रपाड़ा जिले में एक 75 साल की महिला ब्राह्मणी नदी में बह जाने के बाद चमत्कारिक रूप से बच गई। केशी दलाई ने उफनते बाढ़ के पानी में लगभग 25 किमी बहते हुए 12 घंटे से अधिक समय तक अपनी जान बचाए रखी। रविवार सुबह स्थानीय युवाओं ने उन्हें देखा और बचाया। पानी निगलने और पीला दिखने के बावजूद, तत्काल इलाज मिलने के बाद वह ठीक हो गईं। नदी में मगरमच्छों की मौजूदगी और हाल की बाढ़ की स्थिति को देखते हुए उनका बचना उल्लेखनीय माना जा रहा है।
