Despite India securing a 3-0 lead in the T20 series against New Zealand, the team lost the subsequent two matches. Coach Gautam Gambhir's post-match speech focused on praising the players' efforts and celebrating the series win, rather than addressing the tactical errors and weaknesses exposed in the losses. Notably, New Zealand scored 260 in one match, with a century from Glenn Phillips, highlighting issues in India's bowling and batting strategies. Gambhir's approach has raised questions about preparation for future tournaments, emphasizing the need to analyze mistakes even after a victory.
