A low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal is intensifying and is expected to develop into a cyclonic storm by October 26. IMD has issued a weather alert for 10 states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, predicting rain on October 25. Coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are likely to experience extremely heavy rainfall on October 27 and 28.
