Left Parties Force Bulldozer To Retreat From CPI(M) Stall In Jadavpur

A bulldozer sent to remove a Communist Party of India (Marxist) book stall in Kolkata's Jadavpur area on Saturday night was forced to retreat. Party workers, residents, and students gathered to oppose the move by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Police and central forces were present during the incident. The CPI(M) stated they had all necessary permissions for the stall, which had been set up four days prior. This marks the latest dispute over Left parties' book stalls during Durga Puja festivities in West Bengal.

शनिवार रात कोलकाता के जादवपुर इलाके में भारतीय कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (मार्क्सवादी) के बुक स्टॉल को हटाने के लिए भेजा गया एक बुलडोजर पीछे हटने पर मजबूर हो गया। कोलकाता नगर निगम की इस कार्रवाई का विरोध करने के लिए पार्टी कार्यकर्ता, निवासी और छात्र इकट्ठा हुए थे। घटना के दौरान पुलिस और केंद्रीय बल मौजूद थे। CPI(M) ने कहा कि स्टॉल के लिए उनके पास सभी आवश्यक अनुमतियाँ थीं, जिसे चार दिन पहले लगाया गया था। यह पश्चिम बंगाल में दुर्गा पूजा उत्सव के दौरान वामपंथी दलों के बुक स्टॉलों पर नवीनतम विवाद है।
