Mangaluru City Corporation Mandates Vaccination, Leashing For Pet Dogs

The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has introduced new mandatory guidelines for pet dog owners, enforcing vaccination, registration, and welfare standards. All pet dogs must be vaccinated against rabies and receive annual boosters, with owners needing to present certificates during inspections. Dogs must be leashed in public, and owners must clean up after their pets, facing fines from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 for violations. Sterilisation is also required unless the dog is for registered breeding purposes.

मंगलुरु सिटी कॉर्पोरेशन (MCC) ने पालतू कुत्तों के मालिकों के लिए नए अनिवार्य दिशानिर्देश पेश किए हैं, जिसमें टीकाकरण, पंजीकरण और कल्याण मानकों को लागू किया गया है। सभी पालतू कुत्तों को रेबीज के खिलाफ टीका लगवाना होगा और वार्षिक बूस्टर खुराक लेनी होगी, मालिकों को निरीक्षण के दौरान प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करने होंगे। सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर कुत्तों को पट्टे पर रखना होगा, और मालिकों को अपने पालतू जानवरों के बाद सफाई करनी होगी, उल्लंघन पर 1,000 रुपये से 5,000 रुपये तक का जुर्माना भरना होगा। पंजीकृत प्रजनन उद्देश्यों के लिए कुत्ते को छोड़कर नसबंदी भी आवश्यक है।
