LPG eKYC Deadline October 1 For Subsidy

Domestic LPG consumers must complete Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (eKYC) by October 1, 2026, to continue receiving subsidised refills. This mandatory process aims to prevent ghost connections and diversion of cooking gas. Consumers can complete it at gas agencies or via mobile apps. Those who do not comply will receive LPG at market price, without subsidy, and may only get 5kg or 10kg cylinders instead of the usual 14.2kg ones.

घरेलू एलपीजी ग्राहकों को 1 अक्टूबर 2026 तक बायोमेट्रिक आधार ऑथेंटिकेशन (eKYC) कराना ज़रूरी होगा, तभी उन्हें सब्सिडी वाले सिलेंडर मिलते रहेंगे। यह कदम फर्जी कनेक्शन रोकने और गैस की हेराफेरी रोकने के लिए उठाया गया है। ग्राहक इसे गैस एजेंसी या मोबाइल ऐप से पूरा कर सकते हैं। जो ऐसा नहीं करेंगे, उन्हें बिना सब्सिडी के बाज़ार भाव पर एलपीजी मिलेगी और शायद 14.2 किलो की जगह 5 या 10 किलो के सिलेंडर ही मिलें।
