Indian-origin Aruna Miller has secured re-election as Maryland's lieutenant governor, running alongside Governor Wes Moore. Miller, a Democrat, defeated Republican candidate Rob Krop. Her victory ensures continued Indian-American representation in US state leadership. Miller had previously expressed concerns about federal policies, including rising fuel prices, job losses, and immigration restrictions, urging voters to hold the Trump-Vance administration accountable.
