Indian-Origin Siblings Turn Lemonade Stand Into Nonprofit, Donating Books
Times of India - India · india
An Austin lemonade stand started by Indian-origin siblings Rohan and Anya Satija in 2018 has evolved into the Let's Learn Foundation, an educational non-profit. The foundation has distributed 100,000 books, 125,000 learning supplies, and thousands of mental health kits across Texas. Inspired by Rohan's personal struggles and the concept of "book deserts," the siblings aim to reduce educational inequality. The foundation now partners with 13 Texas school districts and has directly impacted over 15,000 students, expanding its work to include mental health support and creative programs.
