Businesses Plan No UPI Day Over New MDR

Several business associations are observing a 'No UPI Day' on October 2 to protest a new Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) of 0.4% on UPI payments exceeding Rs 2,000. This levy, set by the NPCI, is scheduled to be implemented from October 15. Participating groups include the MCCIA, AICPDF, and AIMRA. They plan to meet with the chief minister and finance minister to voice their concerns.

कई व्यापारिक संगठनों ने 2 अक्टूबर को 'नो यूपीआई डे' मनाने का ऐलान किया है। वे यूपीआई से 2,000 रुपये से ज़्यादा के पेमेंट पर लगने वाले 0.4% MDR का विरोध कर रहे हैं। NPCI द्वारा तय यह शुल्क 15 अक्टूबर से लागू होना है। MCCIA, AICPDF और AIMRA जैसे संगठन इसमें शामिल हैं। वे अपनी चिंताएं बताने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री और वित्त मंत्री से मिलेंगे।
