Heavy Rains Cause Havoc Across India and Nepal

Heavy rainfall, landslides, and floods have caused widespread devastation across Nepal, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha. In Nepal, 21 people have died due to rain-related incidents, with an avalanche in Manang district claiming two lives and leaving ten missing. Uttar Pradesh has reported 56 deaths in the last three days due to continuous rain and storms, with rivers overflowing and thousands of homes damaged. Uttarakhand is experiencing heavy rain and snowfall, leading to landslides and the suspension of the Char Dham Yatra. Rescue operations are underway for stranded mountaineers.

भारत और नेपाल में भारी बारिश से तबाही

भारी बारिश, भूस्खलन और बाढ़ ने नेपाल, उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड और ओडिशा में व्यापक तबाही मचाई है। नेपाल में बारिश संबंधी घटनाओं में 21 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है, जबकि मनांग जिले में हिमस्खलन में दो लोगों की मौत हो गई और दस लापता हो गए। उत्तर प्रदेश में पिछले तीन दिनों में लगातार बारिश और तूफान के कारण 56 लोगों की मौत की सूचना मिली है, नदियाँ उफान पर हैं और हजारों घर क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए हैं। उत्तराखंड में भारी बारिश और बर्फबारी हो रही है, जिससे भूस्खलन हो रहा है और चार धाम यात्रा निलंबित कर दी गई है। फंसे हुए पर्वतारोहियों के लिए बचाव अभियान जारी है।
