Hyderabad Global Grace Cancer Run Sees Over 35,000 Participants

Over 35,000 people, including approximately 300 cancer survivors, participated in the 9th edition of the Quambiant Global Grace Cancer Run in Hyderabad. Organized by the Grace Cancer Foundation, the event aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention and early detection. Minister D. Sridhar Babu highlighted the run's reflection of Hyderabad's civic spirit and stated that funds raised would support free cancer screening. The foundation plans to reach one lakh people through mobile screening initiatives, especially in rural areas.

हैदराबाद में 9वें क्वाम्बिएंट ग्लोबल ग्रेस कैंसर रन में लगभग 300 कैंसर सर्वाइवर समेत 35,000 से ज़्यादा लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया। ग्रेस कैंसर फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम का मकसद कैंसर की रोकथाम और शुरुआती पहचान के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना था। मंत्री डी. श्रीधर बाबू ने इस दौड़ को हैदराबाद की नागरिक भावना का प्रतिबिंब बताया और कहा कि जुटाए गए फंड से मुफ्त कैंसर स्क्रीनिंग में मदद मिलेगी। फाउंडेशन की योजना है कि वे मोबाइल स्क्रीनिंग पहलों के ज़रिए, खासकर ग्रामीण इलाकों में, एक लाख लोगों तक पहुँचें।
