The Rajasthan government has transferred 14 IPS officers, making significant changes in Jaipur's crime, traffic, and law-and-order departments. Several district Superintendents of Police (SPs) have also been replaced as part of this reshuffle. Ajay Singh has moved to additional commissioner (law and order), while Rameshwar Singh will now head the crime division. The transfers have drawn criticism from the Rajasthan Congress president, who alleges that officials who did not cooperate with the BJP during recent civic elections are being targeted.

राजस्थान सरकार ने 14 IPS अधिकारियों का तबादला कर दिया है, जिससे जयपुर के अपराध, यातायात और कानून-व्यवस्था विभागों में बड़े बदलाव हुए हैं। इस फेरबदल के तहत कई जिला अधीक्षकों (एसपी) को भी बदला गया है। अजय सिंह अतिरिक्त आयुक्त (कानून व्यवस्था) बन गए हैं, जबकि रामेश्वर सिंह अब अपराध विभाग का नेतृत्व करेंगे। इन तबादलों की राजस्थान कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने आलोचना की है, जिन्होंने आरोप लगाया है कि हाल के नगर निगम चुनावों में भाजपा के साथ सहयोग नहीं करने वाले अधिकारियों को निशाना बनाया जा रहा है।
