India's automobile sector experienced robust double-digit growth across all segments in the second quarter of FY2027. Passenger Vehicles (PV) and Commercial Vehicles (CV) reported nearly 30% year-on-year wholesale growth, with PV sales reaching 1.36 million units. The Utility Vehicle sub-segment led PV sales, capturing 68% of the market. The Two-Wheeler segment also saw a 15.2% increase, driven by scooter sales. These gains are attributed to improved affordability, a low base from the previous year, and strong financing support.

FY2027 की दूसरी तिमाही में भारत के ऑटोमोबाइल सेक्टर ने सभी सेगमेंट में मजबूत दोहरे अंकों की वृद्धि देखी। पैसेंजर व्हीकल्स (PV) और कमर्शियल व्हीकल्स (CV) ने लगभग 30% साल-दर-साल होलसेल वृद्धि दर्ज की, जिसमें PV की बिक्री 1.36 मिलियन यूनिट तक पहुंच गई। यूटिलिटी व्हीकल सब-सेगमेंट ने PV की बिक्री में नेतृत्व किया, जिसने बाजार का 68% हिस्सा कब्जाया। टू-व्हीलर सेगमेंट में भी स्कूटर की बिक्री से प्रेरित होकर 15.2% की वृद्धि देखी गई। इन लाभों का श्रेय बेहतर सामर्थ्य, पिछले वर्ष के निम्न आधार और मजबूत फाइनेंसिंग समर्थन को दिया जाता है।
