Mutual funds heavily invested in Reliance Industries and BSE during September, with nearly ₹6,000 crore poured into Reliance and over ₹5,500 crore into BSE. These purchases occurred ahead of Jio Platforms' anticipated IPO and BSE's inclusion in the Nifty 50 index, respectively. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Swiggy also featured in the top five most-bought stocks. The National Stock Exchange attracted significant investments, including pre-IPO and anchor investments. Conversely, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, and Tata Consultancy Services were among the most-sold stocks by mutual funds.
