More than 100 Japanese companies have expanded their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune, shifting focus from back-office tasks to AI, digital innovation, and product development. These centres are evolving into strategic hubs driving digital transformation and innovation, rather than just cost efficiency. India's large STEM talent pool and mature business environment are key factors attracting these investments. Japanese firms are increasingly building these centres to create business value and support global transformation initiatives.
