SP to Leverage Ayodhya, Kashi Wins for 2027 UP Poll Campaign Narrative

The Samajwadi Party plans to highlight its recent victories in Ayodhya and Varanasi to bolster its campaign for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Hoardings celebrating these wins have already appeared outside the SP headquarters. The party secured five out of eleven MLC seats contested, retaining two seats in Varanasi, which is represented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav described the Varanasi win as a significant setback for the BJP.

समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) 2027 के उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए अपने अभियान को मजबूत करने के लिए अयोध्या और वाराणसी में अपनी हालिया जीत को उजागर करने की योजना बना रही है। इन जीतों का जश्न मनाते हुए होर्डिंग्स पहले ही सपा मुख्यालय के बाहर दिखाई दे चुके हैं। पार्टी ने 11 एमएलसी सीटों में से पांच पर जीत हासिल की, जिसमें प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा प्रतिनिधित्व वाले वाराणसी में दो सीटें बरकरार रखीं। सपा प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव ने वाराणसी की जीत को भाजपा के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण झटका बताया।
