INS Trishul Participates in France’s ‘Varuna’ Exercise to Boost Maritime Engagement

India's stealth frigate INS Trishul recently took part in the 24th edition of Exercise VARUNA with the French Navy in Toulon. This exercise aimed to strengthen Indo-French maritime bonding and enhance interoperability between the two navies. The drills included anti-submarine, anti-surface, and live-firing exercises, along with helicopter operations. The visit also involved professional engagements and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Mazargues War Memorial. Following the exercise, INS Trishul proceeded to Valencia, Spain, as part of its Mediterranean deployment.
