Kuno Cheetah CCB-4, Known For Male Alliance, Strays Into Rajasthan
Times of India · environment
A male cheetah named CCB-4, originally from Botswana and residing in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park, has crossed into Rajasthan's Baran district. This cheetah is notable for forming an unusual bond with an India-born male cheetah, defying typical conservation expectations. Forest officials are actively tracking CCB-4's movements after it entered Baran on Friday night. This is not the first instance of Kuno cheetahs venturing into Baran, as the region's landscape is considered suitable for them due to its grasslands and semi-arid habitats.
