Mobile payments firm Airtel Money began trading on the London Stock Exchange on Friday, marking the bourse's largest initial public offering in five years. Existing shareholders sold 270 million shares at £1.96 apiece, raising approximately £529 million and valuing the company at about £5.3 billion. The company processed $213 billion in the 12 months through June, serving about 53 million monthly active users. Its performance will be a key test for London's efforts to revitalize its capital markets and attract more international listings.
