The European Union is considering moving frozen Russian assets out of Belgium to EU structures to ease Ukraine funding pressures. This move, however, carries new risks and faces significant challenges, including potential legal difficulties and damage to the EU's investment appeal. Russia's Foreign Ministry stated that EU attempts to confiscate these funds are becoming an excessive burden for member states.
