Jamia NSUI Activists Sent to 3-Day Judicial Custody; Release Demand Raised

Two NSUI activists, Faizan and Zeeshan, have been sent to three days of judicial custody in connection with the ongoing protest demanding the restoration of student union elections at Jamia Millia Islamia. Faizan is the NSUI unit president at Jamia, while Zeeshan is a former national head of the organisation's social media department. The NSUI national president has demanded their immediate release, warning that the protest will intensify if they are not freed.

जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया में छात्र संघ चुनाव बहाल करने की मांग को लेकर चल रहे विरोध प्रदर्शन के संबंध में दो एनएसयूआई कार्यकर्ताओं, फैजान और जीशान को तीन दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है। फैजान जामिया में एनएसयूआई इकाई के अध्यक्ष हैं, जबकि जीशान संगठन के सोशल मीडिया विभाग के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय प्रमुख हैं। एनएसयूआई के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष ने उनकी तत्काल रिहाई की मांग की है, चेतावनी दी है कि अगर उन्हें रिहा नहीं किया गया तो विरोध प्रदर्शन तेज होगा।
