Maharashtra CM Promises Drought Relief For All Farmers

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured farmers that no one would be left out of drought relief measures, even if their taluka was not initially included in the list of 265 drought-like areas. He stated that the government would conduct surveys and potentially expand the list under Trigger-3 norms. Fadnavis also mentioned that districts have been asked to prepare water budgets to ensure sufficient water supply until July-August 2027.
