Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Demands World-Class, Permanent Facilities for Khelo India Games

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to ensure top-quality arrangements and permanent sports infrastructure for the upcoming Khelo India Youth Games 2026. He emphasized using the event to provide international-standard facilities and coaching for young athletes. Reddy also called for the inclusion of Telangana's traditional sport, Karrasamu, under the host state category. He criticized the previous government's negligence, which led to the deterioration of sports infrastructure. The games are expected to host over 7,000 athletes and 2,000 coaches across 27 disciplines in six cities.

तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री ए. रेवंत रेड्डी ने अधिकारियों को आगामी खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स 2026 के लिए उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली व्यवस्थाएं और स्थायी खेल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने इस आयोजन का उपयोग युवा एथलीटों के लिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय-मानक सुविधाएं और कोचिंग प्रदान करने हेतु करने पर जोर दिया। रेड्डी ने मेजबान राज्य श्रेणी के तहत तेलंगाना के पारंपरिक खेल, कर्रसामु को शामिल करने का भी आह्वान किया। उन्होंने पिछली सरकार की उपेक्षा की आलोचना की, जिसके कारण खेल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का क्षरण हुआ। इन खेलों में छह शहरों में 27 विषयों में 7,000 से अधिक एथलीटों और 2,000 कोचों के भाग लेने की उम्मीद है।
