Harshvardhan Rane on Ram Gopal Varma: Not Approaching Role Like a Fan

Times of India · entertainment

Actor Harshvardhan Rane, set to portray Daya Nayak in Ram Gopal Varma's next, described the director's set as a space where behavior and instinct are paramount. Rane emphasized Varma's ability to see scenes from multiple angles, demanding honesty and alertness from actors. While a fan of Varma's influential crime films like 'Shiva' and 'Satya', Rane approached the role with the seriousness of an actor entrusted with a significant responsibility. He aimed to internalize the character of Daya Nayak, blending factual study with Varma's interpretation to find his own authentic portrayal.
