Karnataka SSLC Exam Fees Increased by 5% for 2026-27 Academic Year

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced a 5% increase in SSLC examination fees for the 2026-27 academic year. The fee for first-time appearing students will rise from Rs 710 to Rs 746. This revision also applies to private and repeat candidates, with adjustments to registration, application, and renewal fees. Fees for repeat candidates taking multiple subjects have also been increased. The board cited rising expenditure involved in conducting examinations as the reason for this fee hike.

कर्नाटक स्कूल एग्जामिनेशन एंड असेसमेंट बोर्ड (KSEAB) ने 2026-27 शैक्षणिक वर्ष के लिए SSLC परीक्षा शुल्क में 5% की बढ़ोतरी की घोषणा की है। पहली बार परीक्षा देने वाले छात्रों के लिए शुल्क 710 रुपये से बढ़कर 746 रुपये हो जाएगा। यह संशोधन निजी और रिपीट उम्मीदवारों पर भी लागू होता है, जिसमें पंजीकरण, आवेदन और नवीनीकरण शुल्क में समायोजन शामिल हैं। कई विषयों के लिए परीक्षा देने वाले रिपीट उम्मीदवारों के शुल्क में भी वृद्धि की गई है। बोर्ड ने परीक्षा आयोजित करने में बढ़ते खर्च को इस शुल्क वृद्धि का कारण बताया है।
