Commercial vehicle retail sales in India surpassed 1.03 lakh units in September 2026, marking a significant 37.62% year-on-year increase. Tata Motors led the market, followed by Mahindra and Ashok Leyland, with these three manufacturers accounting for approximately 80% of total sales. Sales also saw a sequential rise of 14.09% compared to August 2026. Diesel remained the dominant fuel, though electric vehicles saw an increased market share. Daimler reported the highest percentage growth among listed manufacturers.

सितंबर 2026 में भारत में कमर्शियल वाहनों की खुदरा बिक्री 1.03 लाख यूनिट से अधिक रही, जो पिछले साल की तुलना में 37.62% की बड़ी बढ़ोतरी है। Tata Motors बाजार में सबसे आगे रहा, उसके बाद Mahindra और Ashok Leyland रहे, इन तीनों निर्माताओं ने कुल बिक्री का लगभग 80% हिस्सा लिया। अगस्त 2026 की तुलना में बिक्री में 14.09% की क्रमिक वृद्धि भी देखी गई। डीजल प्रमुख ईंधन बना रहा, हालांकि इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों का बाजार हिस्सा बढ़ा। सूचीबद्ध निर्माताओं में Daimler ने सबसे अधिक प्रतिशत वृद्धि दर्ज की।
