Two Men Die After Suspected Toxic Fumes

Two men, identified as Bhavin Desai, 18, and Prabhakar Dhivar, 25, died in Goregaon East, Mumbai, after allegedly inhaling toxic fumes in a public toilet. Police suspect fumes from sulphuric acid used at an adjacent metal plating workshop may have entered the toilet through underground chambers. The two were part of a group dismantling a Ganpati pandal when they went to use the facility. They were found unconscious and later declared dead at a hospital. An Accidental Death Report has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing pending post-mortem results.

मुंबई के गोरेगांव ईस्ट में दो युवकों, जिनकी पहचान 18 साल के भावन देसाई और 25 साल के प्रभाकर धिवर के रूप में हुई है, की संदिग्ध ज़हरीली गैस सूंघने से मौत हो गई। पुलिस को शक है कि पास की एक मेटल प्लेटिंग वर्कशॉप में इस्तेमाल होने वाले सल्फ्यूरिक एसिड की गैस अंडरग्राउंड चैंबर से टॉयलेट में आ गई होगी। ये दोनों युवक गणपति पंडाल हटाने वाले एक समूह का हिस्सा थे जब वे टॉयलेट गए थे। उन्हें बेहोश पाया गया और बाद में अस्पताल में मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। एक एक्सीडेंटल डेथ रिपोर्ट दर्ज की गई है और पोस्ट-मॉर्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद जांच जारी है।
