India-US Trade Pact Finalised, Awaiting Operationalisation Post Competitive Edge

India's first phase of the trade pact with the US has been finalised and is currently undergoing legal drafting, according to Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. He expressed optimism that the agreement will be operationalised soon. This will occur once India achieves a competitive advantage over its peer nations. Goyal also mentioned that a free trade agreement between India and the European Union is slated for signing in December and is expected to come into effect by February or March of the following year.

वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल के अनुसार, अमेरिका के साथ भारत के व्यापार समझौते का पहला चरण अंतिम रूप से तय हो गया है और वर्तमान में इसका कानूनी मसौदा तैयार किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि यह समझौता जल्द ही लागू हो जाएगा। यह तब होगा जब भारत अपने समकक्ष देशों पर प्रतिस्पर्धी बढ़त हासिल कर लेगा। गोयल ने यह भी बताया कि भारत और यूरोपीय संघ के बीच एक मुक्त व्यापार समझौते पर दिसंबर में हस्ताक्षर होने की उम्मीद है और यह अगले साल फरवरी या मार्च तक लागू हो जाएगा।
