BJP Leader Criticises TVK Govt Over Undertrial's Death In Custody

BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran has strongly criticised the TVK-led government following the alleged suicide of an undertrial in police custody at Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital. Nagenthran expressed shock and demanded stringent action against the police personnel involved in the incident. He questioned the failure in monitoring the undertrial around the clock while in police custody. The BJP leader also criticised Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay's administration of the police force, citing concerns about safety and deteriorating law and order.

बीजेपी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नैनार नागेंद्रन ने तिरुनेलवेली सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल में पुलिस हिरासत में एक विचाराधीन कैदी की कथित आत्महत्या के बाद टीवीके के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार की कड़ी आलोचना की है। नागेंद्रन ने घटना में शामिल पुलिस कर्मियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की और सदमे व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने पुलिस हिरासत में विचाराधीन कैदी की चौबीसों घंटे निगरानी रखने में विफलता पर सवाल उठाया। बीजेपी नेता ने मुख्यमंत्री सी. जोसेफ विजय के पुलिस बल के प्रशासन की भी आलोचना की, सुरक्षा और बिगड़ती कानून व्यवस्था के बारे में चिंता जताई।
