Delhi Borders See Heavy Traffic, Security Ahead Of CJP Protest

Traffic movement slowed significantly at the Delhi-Gurgaon border on Friday night due to barricading and heightened security measures implemented ahead of a proposed protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Long queues of vehicles were observed on the Gurgaon side, impacting commuters returning home and those heading towards Delhi. Meanwhile, security was also intensified at the Delhi-Noida border, with police and BSF personnel deployed and vehicles being checked. The increased security arrangements are in anticipation of a planned march on Saturday demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.

शुक्रवार रात को दिल्ली-गुड़गांव सीमा पर कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) द्वारा प्रस्तावित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले बैरिकेडिंग और कड़ी सुरक्षा उपायों के कारण यातायात काफी धीमा हो गया। गुड़गांव की तरफ वाहनों की लंबी कतारें देखी गईं, जिससे घर लौट रहे यात्रियों और दिल्ली की ओर जाने वालों को परेशानी हुई। वहीं, दिल्ली-नोएडा सीमा पर भी सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई, पुलिस और बीएसएफ के जवान तैनात किए गए और वाहनों की तलाशी ली गई। यह बढ़ी हुई सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर शनिवार को होने वाले नियोजित मार्च की प्रत्याशा में है।
