Starlink, Jio, OneWeb Await Security Clearance For Satellite Internet Rollout

Reliance-backed Jio, Airtel's OneWeb, and Elon Musk's Starlink have all secured satellite-based communication licenses. However, the commercial launch of their services is currently on hold. This delay is attributed to pending security clearances for all three companies. Additionally, a final decision on spectrum pricing is required before any services can commence. The government sources indicated that all these prerequisites must be met before the companies can begin offering their satellite internet solutions to the public.
