पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने केंद्रीय योजनाओं की देखरेख करने वाले राज्य के सचिवों के लिए हर महीने दिल्ली जाने का आदेश दिया है, या जरूरत पड़ने पर दो महीने में एक बार। इस निर्देश का उद्देश्य केंद्रीय मंत्रालय के अधिकारियों के साथ आमने-सामने की बैठकों के माध्यम से कार्यान्वयन की बाधाओं को दूर करना है, जिससे केंद्र-राज्य समन्वय को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। अधिकारियों को पत्र और ईमेल से आगे बढ़कर मंजूरी और धन जारी करने के लिए सक्रिय रूप से प्रयास करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
