Supreme Court Seeks Proposals For NCLT-NCLAT Infrastructure Over Four Weeks

The Supreme Court has expressed serious concern over the lack of basic facilities at the NCLT and NCLAT. A bench headed by the Chief Justice of India has requested detailed proposals from the presidents of both tribunals regarding their needs for buildings, land, infrastructure, and staff. Senior advocate Sanjiv Sen highlighted the deteriorating infrastructure at NCLT's principal bench, with two floors closed and courts operating at half capacity.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने NCLT और NCLAT में बुनियादी सुविधाओं की कमी पर गंभीर चिंता जताई है। भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश की अध्यक्षता वाली एक पीठ ने दोनों न्यायाधिकरणों के अध्यक्षों से भवन, भूमि, बुनियादी ढांचे और कर्मचारियों की जरूरतों के बारे में विस्तृत प्रस्ताव मांगे हैं। वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता संजीव सेन ने NCLT की मुख्य पीठ में बिगड़ती बुनियादी ढांचे पर प्रकाश डाला, जिसमें दो मंजिलें बंद हैं और अदालतें आधी क्षमता पर काम कर रही हैं।
