Nine people, including a woman and a Nepali citizen, were killed in separate incidents of communal violence across three districts in Manipur over the past 24 hours. The clashes involved Kuki and Naga groups, with at least 14 homes reportedly set ablaze. The violence escalated following the death of a Kuki woman who was shot during an operation to demolish illegal bunkers near Chassad police station. Two Naga village guards were also killed in a separate incident. Tensions remain high as investigations into the involvement of armed groups continue.
