A temporary dentist at Kanhangad District Hospital in Keralam, Dr. Sidharth Ravindran, has been dismissed from service. His participation in a black flag protest against Sports Minister O.J. Janeesh violated his employment agreement. The protest occurred when the minister visited Kasaragod district. Photographs of Dr. Ravindran waving a black flag at the minister's vehicle emerged, leading to a complaint and subsequent action. Health authorities stated his involvement in the political demonstration contravened the terms signed upon his appointment under the National Health Mission.
