Dalit Outfit Demands Public Apology From Kumaraswamy Over Remarks Against Priyank Kharge

The Karnataka State Scheduled Caste Right Communities Federation has demanded a public apology from Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. The federation condemned his alleged derogatory remarks against Home Minister Priyank Kharge, stating they targeted Kharge's caste identity and questioned the reservation system. Federation president Mahadev Mogha asserted that such remarks hurt the sentiments of the Dalit community and violate constitutional principles of equality and social justice. They have urged authorities to initiate legal action and warned of statewide protests if Kumaraswamy fails to apologize.

कर्नाटक राज्य अनुसूचित जाति हक्क समुदायों के महासंघ ने केंद्रीय मंत्री एच.डी. कुमारस्वामी से सार्वजनिक माफ़ी की मांग की है। महासंघ ने गृह मंत्री प्रियंक खरगे के खिलाफ उनकी कथित अपमानजनक टिप्पणियों की निंदा की, यह कहते हुए कि वे खरगे की जाति की पहचान को निशाना बनाती हैं और आरक्षण प्रणाली पर सवाल उठाती हैं। महासंघ के अध्यक्ष महादेव मोघा ने जोर देकर कहा कि ऐसी टिप्पणियां दलित समुदाय की भावनाओं को आहत करती हैं और समानता और सामाजिक न्याय के संवैधानिक सिद्धांतों का उल्लंघन करती हैं। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू करने का आग्रह किया है और चेतावनी दी है कि यदि कुमारस्वामी माफ़ी नहीं मांगते हैं तो पूरे राज्य में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा।
