Two Suspected Breast Cancer Cases Found At Goa Screening Camp

A cancer screening camp held in Sanquelim, Goa, on Saturday detected two suspected cases of breast cancer. The camp, organized by GMC along with Goa Dental College and other health services, screened 73 women and 28 men. In addition to the suspected breast cancer cases, 18 non-cancerous breast lumps were identified. Dental screenings also found one pre-cancerous mouth patch and other oral issues, with several patients referred for follow-up care.

शनिवार को गोवा के सान्केलिम में आयोजित एक कैंसर स्क्रीनिंग कैंप में स्तन कैंसर के दो संदिग्ध मामले सामने आए। जीएमसी (GMC) द्वारा गोवा डेंटल कॉलेज और अन्य स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के साथ मिलकर आयोजित इस कैंप में 73 महिलाओं और 28 पुरुषों की जांच की गई। संदिग्ध स्तन कैंसर के मामलों के अलावा, 18 गैर-कैंसर वाले स्तन गांठों की भी पहचान की गई। डेंटल स्क्रीनिंग में मुंह के एक प्री-कैंसरस पैच और अन्य मुख संबंधी समस्याएं भी पाई गईं, और कई मरीजों को आगे की देखभाल के लिए रेफर किया गया।
