A family's seven-day Singapore trip became a nightmare when Air India failed to deliver their luggage from Ahmedabad. The Gujarat State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has ordered Air India to reimburse Rs 1.5 lakh towards the family's emergency shopping expenses. The airline must also pay Rs 1 lakh as compensation for deficiency in service and mental agony. The commission deducted 25% from the shopping bill as the family continued to use the purchased clothes after returning to India.
